I have finished my lidded project and I'm not as pleased as I thought it would be. It is 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The lid has a very grainy texture while the base peice is very smooth. I glazed the lid in shadow green but it must have been a very thin glaze or watery because it didn't come out very thick. For the cylinder base peice I glazed it all black then painted on white glaze on a side to get the bluish effect it gives off. I learned how to make sure the lid fits into the cylinder or base in order to make this project. The lidded project shows value through its light green and darker blackish colors. This also shows contrast for the same reasons being the two very different colors working together on the same project. I'm not as pleased with this as I was hoping but I still enjoyed making it because it was a challenge for me.
